Important Notes

* Not for Use in Zone 0

This product is not certified for installation in Zone 0 hazardous areas.

** Not for Use in Class I Environments

This model is not designed for Class I hazardous environments. For mining applications, please refer to our certified model: KBA127F Mining Explosion-Proof Camera.

1. IP68 Waterproof Certification

Certified by an IEC-authorized laboratory.
Standard: IEC 60529:1989 + A1:1999 + A2:2013.

2. Flameproof Infrared Lamp Testing

  1. Irradiation Distance: No national standard exists for this metric. Effective range is evaluated based on how far the zebra board remains visible under night vision conditions.
  2. Test Conditions: Ambient light < 0.001 lux (at 550 nm); visibility > 10 km.
  3. Test Equipment: Infrared-compatible B/W camera (0.1 lux), F1.5–2.0 lens, zebra board, power supply, and display device.
  4. Test Method: Illuminate a zebra board at 10 meters using the IR lamp. Gradually move it back until it is no longer visible. Multiply the final distance by 0.6 to determine the lamp’s effective range.
